Pop eye the mall cop

Authors noted: This is the last piece to finish off this year. My partner and I chose to make a twist on Pop Eye and made it Pop Eye the mall cop.

“ Pop Eye please report to the Macy’s store in the east wing of the mall”

“oh I tell you if it’s probably a little cat fight, I’m putting you in the trash”

5 minutes late Pop Eye gets to Macy’s

“ Ok what is the problem ladies,” says Pop Eye

Pop Eye didn’t notice that the people fighting were really men with long hair.

The two men turn around, mad and red faced.

One man asks Pop Eye, “Did you just call me a lady?”

Then the other man asks the same thing.

 Pop Eye hesitates and says, “Yes, yes I did”.

The men wind up to punch. Luckily Pop Eye ate his spinach for lunch right before going, Because he would need it. Before the men swing at Pop Eye, Pop Eye up cuts them both. Sending them flying through the air. what stops them is a brick wall.

The people start running away from Pop Eye. Afraid they were going to be next on the list.

Pop Eye finally cools down and says, “That should serve you right for awhile

Past and Modern Day Stories

authors note: this is about how people take a person from a old text and make it into a modern text

Zeus in the older text he was more tense and feared by people. Also in the older text, Zeus sounds more powerful over everyone and everything. But in the modern rendition he is a poof off and seems like the low baller. He thinks he can do anything, but always gets shut down at the last second. He uses a cell phone instead of ancient stuff to talk to people. Also Zeus isn't really a leader in the modern story like in classical stories about Zeus, where he is a very big leader.

The changes make it more fun for the reader or actor. It is also funny and in a way brings out the smart, dumb, and dumber of the people we live with in today world. We also have the gossip people and the hyper and active people of today.  It also makes it feel like today's world. Like who some people who act like Mr. know it all's and the people that get girls, but can stand up for themselves.
