This Poor old Man

The writing wasn't that much different. Except the for the old man. it the reading it says the old man seat outside by the electric pole, but in the reading they have him in the cafe in the corner by the window. There was other little thing the video missed or skipped. The video shows the mood and the feels of everything that's going on around them. Well the reading piece didn't let it show at come out at you.

Also in the reading you couldn't see the emotions in their eyes and body language. But in the movie you could really see who was mad, sad, or depressed. In both the written piece and video, they both some how make it seem on anything that it converts to real life. They both also leave you with the same feelings. Feelings of kind of sadness. I thought of all the times I could of just waited and stopped but i kept wanting what I wanted. Both of these pieces care out the same act on me. did they do the same to you? if so what did you feel?

I didn't like it how they made the lighting and the movement of the movie and i like how I could see everything that was going on around the text.

a clean, well -lighted place

Write a brief analysis of the two waiters.  What do they represent about life? What does the cafĂ© symbolize?

one of the waiters are not in a hurry to get out out of the cafe and doesn't care how long the man stays. but the young waiter doesn't. he doesn't want to wait for the old man. i think the waiters represent how some people have time to spare and then some that do but can't wait for others. then that how in the past it was a lot different from now. now every one wants what they want.

I think the cafe stands for the center point of everything and cafes are clam and nice areas. So they could make it seem like in the nicest and calmest place there is still stress and madness inbetween people.

At Any Moment

Unbroken

Authors note: The rough and tough life from a thief, to a mad man runner, to the air of war. Can Louie survive death at its fullest it the deep, dark, shark infested Pacific Ocean.

How would you survive in war and life? How would you feel if you were the one that was watching out for 8 other men that your plane held? [1]There was around four hundred thousand soles ( lives ) taken during World War II. Unbroken is a true story of survival and shows how everything can be taken away at any moment.

In the beginning Louie Zamperini grew up being a really sneaky kid. Pulse he was growing up during the great depression. Louie stole many things from neighbors and got away with it because of his sneakiness. But got in plenty of trouble with his parents and with the law. Even getting so sick of people, his friend and Louie ran away from home and hopped on a train and went to the west, till they turned back for home because they missed their families greatly.

After a while, Louie found what he really had in him. The thing he found was his speed. He was so fast and great at running he broke school records like they were nothing. Louie even went to the Olympics for his running right before Hitler started his march across Europe.

Everything turned when he heard of the Olympics where going to get canceled. Louie got out of shape and couldn’t run far for a good time anymore. But there was a answer. He heard that the Air Force needed men. The turning point really came after his crew got shot up and the men that could still fight were transferred to a different flying squad with a different plane. The mission was to search the pacific for a downed plane and its crew, but Louie and his crew get stuck in the middle and have to fight to survival in the deadly Pacific.

As you can see everything can be good one second, then the next there is chaos. Just because this happened in a wars doesn’t mean anything. But don’t think that ways because you see it every time you watch the news, a shooting here, a shooting there, fatal car crashes, and fatal fires. Everyday could be your last, so live it up to the max.

story of survival

Unbroken is a true story of survival, so now unbroken is my favorite books.

One second you can have everything and the next it could be all gone. That is what the author and the book want to get out to the reader. Louie was a  track star and icon to his home town. But it all changed. As soon as the “crab hits the fan” for his crew and him.

There have been many raft bound men in wars. Most get lost and die off or some get found. But most fought through death and live to tell to story of real survival.   Surrounded by sharks and the scorching sun. there are the point from going insane. First you will forget everything in the real world, then starvation, then you start thinking of  cannibalism because of your hunger. After that Louie says “I couldn’t think of the idea, because I could never live with that”.

What would you do if you got into the position Louie and his crew got into? God threw them all a really big curve ball in life. But if you want to know what a thriller Unbroken is and if you read it all I bet you will tell your friends about it and it will become your favorite book.
